Anna comes to Gray Area with an enthusiasm for using art + technology to transgress experiential preconceptions and promote social change. A West Coast transplant, she holds a BA from Reed College and was a founding editor for the multi media journal Nat. Brut. Anna brings a variety of experiences to her position at Gray Area, with a background in youth education, literary arts and non-profit operations. Anna helps Gray Area tell meaningful stories to connect people, amplify voices, and inspire critical thinking about the future. Her interests include ethics and AI, equitable representation in technology, 3D printed nails, sonar technology, and forward thinking development in education. Anna oversees Gray Area’s digital marketing and communications efforts.
