Kerri Young

Community Builder

Kerri is the Historypin Engagement Manager, based in San Francisco. She has worked on a number of projects including the crowdsourced-based Year of the Bay, and is currently working with the US National Archives on a WWI and WWII moving image engagement project.

She is responsible for building and managing community relationships in San Francisco, helping implement and experiment with new audience participation strategies to promote dynamic and engaging programs within the cultural heritage sector. Kerri also manages our US internship programs.

Kerri discovered Historypin studying Public History in London, joined us for an internship, and has been a full member of the team since returning to the US.

Kerri has extensive experience volunteering in the museum and cultural heritage sector, from The National Trust and Historic Royal Palaces, to The Oakland Museum of California and San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.
