We are proud to offer fiscal sponsorship to support emerging projects, artists and organizations aligned with our mission.


Fiscal sponsorship allows new community ventures to more quickly and efficiently get off the ground, without the delay or bureaucratic red-tape associated with incorporating and filing federal and state applications for tax exemptions.

If accepted to the Gray Area Fiscal Sponsorship program Gray Area Foundation for the Arts agrees to provide administrative services and oversight to, and assume limited legal and financial responsibility for, the activities of groups or individuals engaged in a project.


- Apply to funding opportunities only available to a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.
- Administrative fee of 7% - 20%, depending on scope of project.
- Bookkeeping services including 990 and 1099 preparation.
- Online system to submit expenses and track income.

We accept applications on a rolling basis and application is free. Send in your application and get an answer within 30 days.
