Creative Coding Youth Workshop

As a continuation of Youth Apprenticeship program with Dolby Laboratories, we are excited to offer a FREE introductory workshop on Creative Coding for San Francisco youth between the ages of 14 – 19.  These 4 hour workshops will introduce how to use Processing to turn code into art and how to bring that code to life using the Makey Makey Go.  Both workshops will be lead by our selected 2015 Creative Code Mentors & Youth Apprenticeship team.

  • Applicants must be between the ages of 14 – 19.
  • All selected participants will receive a free Makey Makey Go (a $25 value!)
  • The workshop will be held on Jan 30th from 10am – 2pm @ Dolby Laboratories (1275 Market St) 

 

Our 2015 Creative Code Mentors & Youth Apprenticeship team:

Over the course of 8 weeks, from October 27th to December 17th, four Bay Area youth were awarded a Creative Code Apprenticeships to work alongside two Creative Code artists and develop an interactive artwork for the Dolby’s new Interactive Digital Art Wall.  Now they will be hosting an exciting workshop to share what they have learned with you!
