Theo Rigby, founder of iNation Media, is a director, cinematographer, and interactive storyteller who has dedicated his career to creating stories about the immigrant experience in the U.S. Theo’s last project, a short film series called Immigrant Nation, featured an online storytelling platform and a live storytelling initiative and was produced with support from the MacArthur Foundation and the Tribeca Institute New Media Fund. Theo’s work has been showcased on the New York Times, nationally broadcast on POV, shown at Ellis Island, the 2014 New York Film Festival, and 2012 Cannes Film Festival. Theo is the Producer and Director of Waking Dream.

iNation Media is a full-service production company dedicated to creating stories about the immigrant experience in the U.S. iNation amplifies the voices of immigrant communities to create complex and nuanced narratives rarely seen in today’s media. With more than a decade of experience working with immigrant communities, the iNation team creates feature-length documentaries, short-form web series, and branded content that has shown work on the New York Times, Nationally broadcast on PBS, and been screened in hundreds of communities across the country.

The San Francisco Office of Civic Engagement & Immigrant Affairs (OCEIA) is a policy, compliance, direct services and grantmaking office. OCEIA’s mission is to promote inclusive policies and foster immigrant assistance programs that lead to full civic, economic and linguistic integration.
