Greg Kubacki is an American musician and visual artist, best known as the guitarist and principal song writer of the New York-based mathcore band Car Bomb. His music blends technical rhythms and constant modulating tempos with melting guitar tones and unique pitch shifting effects. This has earned Car Bomb the reputation of being one of the most eccentric and groundbreaking bands in heavy music, having toured with genre heavyweights Gojira, Meshuggah, Animals as Leaders, Between the Buried and Me, and Dillinger Escape Plan over the course of four albums. With experience in graphic design and programming, Greg creates most of the visuals and artwork for Car Bomb. He also has a solo project called Xytechra: a sonic sketchpad of IDM, ambient, glitch, and other 90’s-era inspired electronic music.
