Ryan Berkey is freelance art director, motion graphics designer, and visual artist with 10 years of experience in the industry. He specializes in 3D animation, visual effects, and real-time graphics for production houses, creative agencies, and startups. In addition to his freelance work, Ryan creates interactive artwork, has taken his 3D projection-mapped sculpture to Burning Man, Maker Faire, and other events, and has built audio-reactive graphics for musicians such as DJ Qbert and Eminem. Also, he created realtime 3D visualizations in webGL for an online learning experience about the Mars Curiosity Rover for NASA, the Dept of Energy, and Mozilla. Ryan believes in an open source approach, and in using art and technology to enhance each other.
