This two day workshop will provide an introduction to creating VR experiences using a web browser, creative approaches to rapid VR prototyping in any WebGL-enabled browser, as well as live tutorials, demonstrations and prototype applications. Learn how to build an interactive 360° VR environment on mobile, desktop or VR headsets including Oculus Rift, HTC Vive or Google Cardboard—all accessible by visiting a website.
In this workshop students will learn:
How to create and share WebVR content
How to creatively use media (video, audio, sculpture) in WebVR
Creative approaches to prototyping VR in the browser
How to test webVR content in multiple VR headsets (Cardboards, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift)
Requirements: bring a laptop
Programming Experience Level: Beginner to Advanced HTML & Javascript
