Waking Dream Series Launch Celebration & Screening

iNation Media and the San Francisco Office of Civic Engagement & Immigrant Affairs (OCEIA) invites you to join us in a free event celebrating the launch of Waking Dream on Indie Lens Story Cast, a new docuseries YouTube channel presented by Independent Lens and PBS Digital Studios.

After a sneak preview of the six-part series, you’ll have a chance to participate in a discussion with the filmmaker and protagonists featured in the web series to explore how we can empower ourselves and others to engage in more informed, nuanced, and compassionate dialogue about immigration issues.

Graphic Illustrator Anthony Weeks will be gathering personal stories from audience members to create an original mural installation on-site. Free light bites will be provided and a cash bar (21+) is available for refreshments.
