The 5th edition of the Gray Area Festival brought artists, technologists, engineers, and musicians to San Francisco for four days of art, music, technology, and culture. In addition to a conference that facilitated conversation around immersive art, this year's festival featured the US debut of two experiential art instillations: Inferno, the robotic exoskeleton performance, and the ISM Hexadome, a 360° audiovisual experience.
