The Intelligent Museum
The Intelligent Museum is a practice-based research and development project at the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe and the German Museum, with the aim of connecting the museum with current AI technologies, making it a place of experience and experimentation, a social space where art, science, technology and public discourse come together.
Jana Müller
Jana Müller works as a research assistant at the Deutsche Museum in Nuremberg. In addition to her curatorial activities in the Museum of the Future, the neuroscientist and cognitive biologist is part of the project team intelligent.museum. In the context of visitor research, she investigates whether the project goals are being achieved.
Paul Bethge
Paul Bethge works as a software developer at the ZKM | Hertz Lab as part of the project intelligent.museum. Since completing his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Heidelberg, he has been supporting the team in implementing forward-looking ideas. His work ranges from development and application to teaching “Deep Learning” technologies.
Ralf Eger
Ralf Eger works at ZKM | Hertz-Lab as Project Manager for the intelligent.museum project. The PhD engineer and stage director promotes interdisciplinary collaboration between art and science. His goal is to demystify AI technology and make it more accessible to the general public.
