Fred Szymanski investigates the relations between nonlinear forces and applies the results in sound diffusion and multi-screen installations and performances. He is known for his electroacoustic work, which has been released on CD and performed at many festivals, with such  citations as First Prize Musica Nova (2017) and Premier Prix Monaco Electroacoustique (2015). Other venues include Città di Udine (Italy), International Festival of Experimental Music (Bratislava), and Matera Intermedia Festival (Italy).  As a founding member of Ike Yard, he initiated the subterranean electronic turbulation that defined the band’s sound.
