Alex Kane is the co-founder and CEO of Volta, bringing over a decade of experience in various facets of the music industry. Before founding Volta, Alex was a partner in a marketing and branding agency for musicians, festivals, and music-tech brands. He taught himself game engine development to build Volta’s prototype as part of his Master’s thesis project at Imperial College London and The Royal College of Art. Through Volta, Alex has raised over $4 million from investors including Post Malone, Deadmau5, Beatport, Boost Capital, 7percent, and Supernode Ventures. Volta has been named one of Time’s Best Inventions and one of the top 100 Startups in the UK. In addition to his work with Volta, Alex is also a musician, designer, and artist.
