The Interdisciplinary Centre for Computer Music Research (ICCMR) develops research that combines music, science, and technology. The impact of its research has been consistently recognized as world-leading in the last two Research Excellence Framework (REF) assessments, which evaluate the quality of research in higher education institutions across the United Kingdom. Additionally, the University of Plymouth offers a PhD program in Quantum Computing in the Arts, Music, and Humanities, making it the first of its kind.
