Fresh from sold-out tours across Europe and Australia, Derrick Gee brings his electric Radio Hour show to North America for the first time.
Combining Gee’s sharp musical insights with his gift for storytelling, Radio Hour is a one-of-a-kind, music-focused variety show that invites audiences into Gee’s on-stage living room for stories, musical discoveries, and conversation.
Featuring special guests, Radio Hour delivers humorous opinion pieces alongside music from Derrick’s personal collection that he will only share behind closed doors.
A cult tastemaker whose wit and wisdom are shaping the way audiences discover and listen to music, Sydney-based DJ Derrick Gee found himself propelled into unlikely online stardom in 2022 when his response to a viral TikTok trend landed him more than 1.3 million followers across multiple social media platforms.
Drawing on his experience in music, television, and creative direction—as well as shows on NTS Radio and SiriusXM—Gee launched his YouTube music series, Solid Air, which has welcomed guests including Lorde, Jamie xx, MJ Lenderman, Fred again.., PinkPantheress, and Max Richter.
Gee’s new stage show is a nod to the classic radio hours of the past. Fast, funny, and frequently surprising, Radio Hour reimagines music entertainment for a new generation.

His authority and experience in music has been built upon a career spanning TV, the music industry and radio. He is the creator and host of Solid Air, an intimate music interview show filmed inside his Sydney home, where he has hosted some of the world’s most influential artists, including Max Richter, Fred again.., Flying Lotus and PinkPantheress.
