Thank you for making UP:SF a memorable day!
We are thrilled to report that the first UP: San Francisco was a great success, after months of hard work with our partners at Intersection for the Arts and the 5M Project.
Thousands of people attended over the course of the day to learn about the replicable urban projects prototyped at GAFFTA, listen to our gracious keynotes Tom Kelley and John Rahaim, participate in a days worth of panels and catch music and live visual code from some of the best resident DJ’s and code artists in the Bay.
Plans are already underway for the next installment of UP, and until then check out the kind words written by Wired, the SF Chronicle, Shareable and more in our press section. The San Francisco Planning Department also took these gorgeous shots of people interacting with the projects that are well worth checking out. Watch this space 🙂
Huge thanks to our live performers Aaron David Ross, Afrikan Sciences, Andrew Benson, C.L.A.W.S ,Cullen Miller ,DJ Dials ,DJ Tristes Tropiques, Gabriel Dunne, Ghosts on Tape ,Loric Sih , Mark Fell, Michael Chang, Mossmoss, Odbol, P-Play, Ryan Alexander, Stephanie Sheriff and The Ride for making it such a memorable day!
