Colin O’Donnell is an artist and founder who designed and led the Bitcube installation at Burning Man in 2023 and its final form at The Loom, in 2024. In 2020, he was selected as a winner of the Land Art Generator Initiative competition with Project Seed. He founded a Khosla-backed AI robotics company and developed LinkNYC, a massive-scale urban sensing and responsive city platform installed at more than 2,000 locations throughout the five boroughs of New York City, later acquired by Sidewalk Labs/Alphabet. He recently founded The River School, a nature-based nexus of communities focused on consciousness, located in Dobbins, California, on a tributary of the Yuba River.
