Connie Liu (she/they) is a Toisanese-American multidisciplinary artist born and raised in San Francisco.

Their work is grounded in a lifelong practice of archiving family and community histories, with a particular focus on the preservation of Chinese dialects and the hyperlocal narratives of their hometown. Working across metalsmithing, painting, design, and bookbinding, Connie explores how memory, identity, heritage, language, and history become embedded in material form.

As one of the creative content coordinators at Gray Area, they help design branding materials, create social media assets, and assist in the installations of exhibitions galore.
