Danielle Giroux
Danielle Giroux is behind Immersive Story Club – a research-based art project exploring the modes of XR distribution, with a focus on space making & community building around short form narrative experiences in virtual reality. Danielle is spearheading this with the support of Agog, sponsored by Games for Change and part of the XR Distribution Coalition. She works with a diverse catalog and actors in immersive XR production, formerly at the third branch of Atlas V, and now independently. She is of the ethos that VR distribution (for impact) makes sense when hands on with community, finding ways technology serves above extracting. Her specialties lie in leadership, bridging sectors, and creative solutions in XR and the arts.
Danielle holds an MA in Arts and Visual Cultures from Université Paris Diderot and is currently part of the Gray Area incubation cohort 2026. She is a deep thinker that has at times gone “off path” when it comes to VR, but always on path when it comes to the artist way (https://tender-soil.com/)
