Diana Galvis
My name is Diana Galvis. I’m a colombian UX / Visual and Interaction designer with a user-centered and design thinking approach. I’m a recent graduate MFA Design+Tech from the San Francisco Art Institute.
From a visual design and branding to interaction design and user experience, I’m committed to create designs that are coherent with original concepts found by user and context research, prototyping and testing. Every detail is a careful decision obtained as the result of inquisitive observation, deep analysis and intuitive experimentation.
I’m passionate about exploring the possibilities offered by physical computing and telecommunications to influence cultural behavior and create empathic connections between each other and the world around us. I believe one way to foster empathy is providing people with the tools to discover, interpret and interact with different perspectives of truth conveyed in meaningful experiences and intuitive interfaces that teach awareness of the consequences of our actions.
As for my own tools, I discovered that controlling the technology available expanded my possibilities to construct the future. As a result I tend to rely on it to make things aesthetically and functionally.
