Dorothy Fadiman

Dorothy Fadiman has been producing films for more than forty years. Her awards include an Emmy, an Oscar nomination, and a Gold Medal from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Her films cover issues such as holistic healing, progressive education, aging, women’s reproductive rights, HIV/AIDS in Africa, and the disenfranchisement of Native Americans. Her film Radiance (1978), which will be screened at the symposium, documents the presence of light as a universal symbol for ‘Spirit,’ and features a New Age musical soundtrack and visual effects by Steven Beck, Jordan Belson, and Ken Jenkins.
