Georgianne Cowan is a mytho-poetic movement pioneer, writer/poet, and photographer whose teaching and performance work spans more than four decades. Through movement and conscious embodiment, she empowers others to access the emotional, spiritual, and mythic dimensions of their living stories. She is a contributor and editor of The Soul of Nature (Doubleday) and created the visuals for Earthdreaming, a music video with composer Steve Roach. She serves as Chair of the L.A. Dance Collective and is the creator of Moving Soul Dance and Dancing Mystery Lodge. A former Continuum teacher, her creative work is shaped by Continuum, the mytho-poetic imagination, and nature’s harmonic resonance. She is currently completing a book that reimagines Dante’s Inferno as a heroine’s journey through the underworld.
