Jaiden Malia is a multimedia creative from the Bay Area whose personal work often explores girlhood and online culture across multiple visual storytelling mediums from film to social media. She holds a BA in Visual Arts Media from UC San Diego and a Master’s in Interactive Media Arts from NYU’s IMA Low Res program. She has worked as a social media editor for the music discovery channel, Pigeons & Planes, covering a wide range of artists and producing editorial content at the intersection of music and pop culture. Drawing on her visual arts background and a second nature of being chronically online, she now continues her journey at Gray Area where she helps shape the organization’s online presence.
