Jeanette Andrews is an artist and creative technologist who experiments with alternative tools for composing music with code. She explores data sonification, computational music theory, and is devoted to researching the historical and socioeconomic contexts that shape different genres.

Jeanette has a background in data science and has deepened her artistic practice through programs at Gray Area, Women’s Audio Mission, School for Poetic Computation, and Soundial. She currently teaches music production to high schoolers at the Women’s Audio Mission. She uses her technical background to enrich her creative work; she loves bringing together different mediums and is always looking to collaborate!
