Joe is an RTS Award-winning comedy editor and director with a near 20-year track record of shaping some of British television’s best comedies. Since cutting his teeth as an apprentice to Irish documentary filmmaker Sé Merry Doyle, the Armagh native has become a go-to editor in London, cutting BAFTA-winning shows for the BBC, Channel 4, Baby Cow, and Hat Trick Productions (Fonejacker). Transitioning into directing, Joe wrote and directed the dark comedy short There Are No Dividends in 2018. The film established his singular creative voice and screened at 10 festivals worldwide, including FrightFest London.

Most recently, Joe completed a five-year odyssey creating the feature-length documentary DEGENS: Down and Out in the Crypto Casino alongside his childhood friend, Brian McGleenon. The film has earned strong early acclaim, catching the attention of filmmaker Mark Cousins:
