Both a self-taught and classically trained musician, her career has many facets — multi-instrumentalist, composer, sound healer, teacher, artistic director, and producer. Her work is based on a combination of immersive sound experiences, creative explorations, personal development tools, and teachings from various schools of wisdom.

A world-renowned Hang musician, Laura plays a large variety of rare ancient and modern instruments from around the world – the Zapotec clay flutes, the Mongolian jaw harp, the Tibetan bowls, the Laotian khen, the Australian didgeridoo, the African djembe, different shamanic drums, numerous percussions, and rare custom-made instruments.

Laura composes in various musical languages and performs in many different settings — from intimate spaces to large venues seating thousands. She utilizes cutting-edge technology to augment the natural sources of her instruments, creating Chambers of AWE, immersive sonic environments which facilitate meta-sensory experiences, deep transformations, and wellbeing.

Laura grew up on the volcanic island of Sicily and has been exploring the ‘invisible world’ of sound since her youngest years. In her work she brings her personal life experiences and her training in various wisdom schools – like Alchemy, Vedic Traditions, Daoism, mythology, psychology, shamanism, folk music, alternative medicines, western science as well as the direct observation of nature.

For decades, she has been focusing her research on the transformative and healing power of sound. Combining her intimate knowledge of music with her studies of ancient schools of wisdom, she developed a practice called MetaMusic Healing, a unique blend of sound healing, ancient wisdom practices, and shamanic techniques. Meta means beyond, transcendent. In this context music becomes experiential, personalized medicine, and a metaphor of life.

She uses this method in one-on-one sessions as well as in leadership retreats, community gatherings, and sacred ceremonies. Thousands of people worldwide, either in person or on livestreams, have been exposed to her work. The enduring impact she is having on these different communities is profound and so needed in these times.

Laura has been teaching worldwide since her twenties increasing awareness of the vital importance of music and creativity in human lives as an inexhaustible source of inspiration, evolution, and regenerative living. In 2007 she founded and became the artistic director of Samavesha, a multidisciplinary performing art organization and become a community leader in this field, providing hundreds of immersive, interactive, and community based events around the SF Bay Area.

Laura uses music as a meaningful entertainment and interaction, as a booster for intuition and creativity, as a tool for inner transformation and spiritual guidance, and as a medicine for holistic healing and vitality. Her music speaks a universal language, telling stories without words. As a listener, you become the creator of your own experience, breaking the boundaries of your cognitive perception, connecting to your inner guidance, and accessing the vital force of nature.

Laura’s music has been scientifically validated for its transformational impact, showing measurable improvements in mental health and well-being. Her work has also been selected by Johns Hopkins for research exploring how sound can enhance well-being and expand our understanding of consciousness.

She keeps refining her skills and expanding her wisdom to fulfill the purpose of her life-path. Both with individuals and groups, Laura creates opportunities for people to experience various states of consciousness, to connect to the pulse of life, and to learn tools for a regenerative living and healing.

Laura is the co-founder of Seeds of Gold Institute, a non-profit organization whose mission is to research and integrate ancient technology and schools of wisdom into modern life. The institute is dedicated to helping individuals, groups, and the global community in the journey of personal growth and collective evolution.
