Mamboleo is a latin jazz ensemble of young musicians from across the Bay Area. Combining the fiery elements of traditional Cuban rhythms and the captivating sounds of modern jazz, Mamboléo’s sound is truly one of a kind. The band is based in San Francisco and frequently performs as a part of the Mission Arts Performance Project (MAPP) and at local venues such as Bird & Beckett bookstore, as well as exciting collaborations with such notable artists as La Doña. They play a mixture of Cuban standards, jazz standards, and original music!
