Marc Franklin is a maverick and a photographer. For 65 years, the New York Franklin has communicated through a variety of photographic strategies, from seeming documentary, to architectural, to transpersonal portraiture (including a haunting portrait series of the then-living psychedelic pioneers begun in 1988, with Albert Hoffman and then onto nearly two hundred others to a current ongoing improvisation with the camera, lately manifesting itself in startling glimpses of the world of nature.
