Olivia M Ross

Olivia M Ross is a Caribbean American information worker, programmer, and documentarian from Queens, New York City. She teaches about and works with information and its distribution as a freelance archivist, educator, and surrealist. Her work practice in media preservation informs artistic inquiry into the cybernetics of secrecy, power, and place. She is a death doula-in-training, as well as a teacher and student at the School for Poetic Computation. Her work has been featured in The Atlantic, Documentary Magazine, Letterboxd Journal, MUBI Notebook, Them, Refinery29, Bitch Media, and the YouTube video essays of young Black femmes.
