UCHIDA is a Japanese artist and researcher based on Japan who calls herself a “Circuit Bender” for the post-Internet era. She studied oil painting in her bachelor at Musashino Art University and media expression in her master class from the Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences [IAMAS]. She uses existing systems such as Amazon and YouTube in an approach that bends the order of these circuits , distributions and questions the values and given usages that permeate our daily lives.

Recently she researches old culture such as folktales or faiths as techniques for story circulation and XR design, and try to apply these functions into contemporary society in her works.
