Shen-Shen Wu is a creative technologist, curator, and ceremonialist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She designs systems where value is circulated rather than extracted. She also creates containers upheld by ritual, care, and gentleness. These threads converge in localhost, a gallery-salon launching from her living room as an economic experiment in collective stewardship of art. At localhost, she stages exhibitions and hosts dinners where the art, the meal, and the conversation are all part of the work – and where collectors are invited to become stewards rather than owners. She is a member of the international artist collective indigo.flowers, and her practice is shaped by ongoing learning from indigenous worldviews and cosmologies, particularly around exchange and reciprocity.
