SiQi He
SiQi is an Asian American movement artist based in San Francisco, deeply curious about the intersection of technology and movement. Originally from Washington State, she grew up dancing and playing the piano. She continued her education at the University of Washington, graduating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (with a concentration in biomechanics) and a minor in dance.
After graduation, she moved to San Francisco to complete a post-secondary dance training program at the world-renowned Alonzo King LINES Ballet. There, she expanded her understanding of diverse dance practices and deepened her awareness of embodying movement through sensation.
SiQi has since performed in Robert Moses’ Kin’s 30th anniversary season and is currently dancing with the emerging Bay Area company Pearl Street Dance Collective. She aims to amplify and extend audience perception through her unique perspective, creating live and immersive work that bridges movement and technology.
