Leveraging his rapidly growing social media following, Marcus evolved from viral commentator to hands on organizer, mobilizing millions to support progressive causes. In 2005, Marcus joined the Global Sumud Flotilla, a coalition of activists and civilian vessels sailing to deliver aid to Gaza.
