Trent Eriksen is an artist, researcher and creative technologist working at the intersection of music production, audiovisual live coding and information retrieval. His background spans media technology, music information research, filmmaking and sound design. His work aims to explore how creative coding processes merge with orthodox music production and composition to create novel audiovisual outputs, workflows and interaction paradigms. Heavily inspired by experimental animators and minimalist modular hardware, Trent seeks to explore emergent affordances through the creation of immersive audiovisual performances, installations, tools and research outcomes.

Trent has exhibited and performed audiovisual works across Europe in The Netherlands, Berlin, London, and Barcelona while also publishing Music Information Retrieval research at the 2025 ISMIR conference in South Korea.
