Educational Goals
- Understand the node-based logic at the core of Fuser, and how Compositor and Creative Code nodes function as distinct but connectable tools within a single workflow
- Generate, iterate on, and direct AI image fragments using Compositor, with enough fluency to make intentional aesthetic choices rather than accept defaults
- Write and modify basic Creative Code to manipulate, composite, and sequence generated image elements, regardless of prior coding experience
- Build a complete, repeatable Fuser workflow from scratch, structured around a chance-based assembly method
- Trace the exquisite corpse as both a Surrealist game and an enduring logic for creative production, understanding how contemporary AI tooling extends and complicates that tradition
Workshop Outline
- Fuser Basics:
Get to know the basic fundamentals of Fuser, including the interface, nodes, and sockets - Compositor Node:
Learn how to use the Compositor Node to layer image, videos, 3D, text and more, then export or pass to downstream nodes - Creative Code Node:
Use the Creative Code Node to create real-time visuals, motion, charts, and interactive systems. - Share your workflow as a direct link, or create an embeddable web asset
