Cybersentics Little Library

Cybersentics Little Library is a curated collection of books on art, science, technology, and society, available free to the general public. Gray Area invites artists, educators, researchers, and others to visit our Cultural Incubator and access these specialized research materials.

Cybersentics Little Library was established in 2026. It emerged as a natural extension of Cybersentics Book Club, a monthly meetup at Gray Area where we discuss literature about political implications of:
• neural engineering
• cultural perception of disruptive technology
• cybernetics & cyborg theory
and more!

The library offers open access to a collection of rare and specialized books, magazines, historical materials, kits, CDs, vinyls, and other items related to the topics explored in the book club discussions.

Its purpose is to support creative projects by artists working with electronic technology, promote literacy around complex topics we face as a society due to the expansive automation of our environment, encourage critical discussion about innovation and technology, and highlight the role artists and cultural workers can play as mediators. Through this effort, Gray Area hopes to foster critical inquiry, creative experimentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The Library collection was established through donations from the Cybersentics Book Club community. For more information about the book club and future events, visit this page.
