Join us for an engaging panel discussion on the future of entertainment and live experiences. With insights from leading experts in the field, we will explore the collaborative processes, technical integrations, and future possibilities of AI-enhanced live entertainment. Afterwards, enjoy a happy hour and explore large-scale AI-driven artworks displayed throughout the Grand Theater.

Entertainment is undergoing a seismic shift, driven by the integration of cutting-edge digital tools incorporating artificial intelligence and augmented reality. At the upcoming Outside Lands festival, a groundbreaking collaboration will highlight Microsoft’s Copilot technology, showcasing its creative potential in both the production and live execution of visual shows. Spearheaded by Superfly in collaboration with Volta and Microsoft, this event will feature a set by renowned artist Seth Troxler at this year's Outside Lands Festival. This collaboration blends Troxler’s existing visual style with innovative generative AI, creating a seamless fusion of artistry and modern technology. The panel will delve into the collaborative process, technical integration, and future possibilities of AI-enhanced live entertainment, offering insights into how these advancements are poised to redefine the audience experience.

With over 15 years of experience producing highly technical visual and performing arts programming for both public audiences and private events, Gray Area has long sought to bring innovation to the service of artists, producers, and audiences. This panel invites new insight into ways that creators, organizers, and venues can harness AI to maximize impact. Join us for a rich discussion moderated by Gray Area Chairperson Niki Selken, which will be followed afterwards by a happy hour hosted by Gray Area’s Duygu Gün and Wade Wallerstein. Guests are invited to have a drink and enjoy installations of AI-driven artworks from Yvonne Fang, and OK Labs on display throughout the Grand Theater.
