About Nocturne X
This captivating immersive art experience invites visitors on a journey of exploration within the galactic ecosystem of planet Nocturne X, a 4000-square-foot interactive forest filled with surprising stories and hidden puzzles. Hundreds of glowing plants, designed and hand-sculpted by the team at Numina Studio, create a landscape brimming with life as the interconnected vegetation responds to touch, sound, and movement. With the use of A.I. and other custom-built technologies, this multisensory installation transports visitors through space to an awe-inspiring unknown world.

Numina Studio is a Bay Area-based 100-person multidisciplinary team of sculptors, fabricators, metal and woodworkers, sound and light designers who work alongside world-class hardware and software professionals. As digital transformation shapes the modern world, and society as a whole becomes inseparable from the use of technology, Numina Studio examines the impact that those technological advances have on our perception of the world.
Cptn Jay has been DJing, producing unique event experiences, and enabling general merriment in the Bay Area for over 20 years. Starting his journey in the 90s San Francisco rave scene with a handful of German techno and trance tapes, Jay quickly hit all the checkpoints from dance music super fan to DJ to event producer to Burning Man theme camp organizer.
J-KIND is a DJ/Producer residing in San Francisco Bay Area of California. His diverse and eclectic style transcends many genres and is currently focused on his burning passion for techno. Listening to a J-KIND mix is inevitably a deep journey through various moods, and listeners are guaranteed a thrilling exploration of various emotions set to relentless, stomping, and oftentimes, funky beats. Whether or not it's deep, introspective, jazzy, urgent, or imperative, your neck is guaranteed to move to the beat once he works the dancefloor into a frenzy with the bottomless crate of jewels in his crate.
With a passion for melody and a love for dancing, Major Trouble’s signature sound always gets the dance floor moving. His excitement in creating an energetic and invigorating experience has fueled his growth into a rising star on the San Francisco music scene. When he’s not intensely layering multiple tracks to create his signature sound, he’s dancing behind the decks, moving and grooving with the crowd and keeping the energy high.
Antrim (Trim) Smith was born in San Diego, CA and currently resides in the Bay Area. Trim became a fan of house and dance music in the 1990's. After listening and being immersed in various dance music communities, he finds himself now playing House, Tech-House, and Nu-Disco! With the support of Airpusher Collective, Trim finds himself playing with some of the Bay Area's best DJs!
Dave "TruckStop" Slater has been all over the Burning Man event scene since 2012. Planning events such as Decompression, Steampunk Masquerade, and Ghost Ship, he was a "human behind the scenes" until earlier this year. Translating his skills on keyboard and violin into DJing, he has quickly become a sought after DJ for local Burner events.
