Anna Müller and Paul Wallner founded HVOB (Her Voice Over Boys) in 2012. The duo focuses on "restrained and minimalist" electronica with the use of vocals. After releasing music on SoundCloud they were discovered by Oliver Koletzki, a German dance and house music producer. Koletzki contracted the duo and they later appeared at the Melt Festival. flatspot_. is a group of unnamed individuals based in Oakland, creating both aural and visual loops of various types. The group has focused most recently on the concept of analog video feedback loops as means to build a visual world in which the audio may reside and find comfort. Mophono, who set out to master the machines that threatened to be the masters of men, was born in 1976 in the Bay Area.
