#arthacksf: Graffiti Jam
Project Description
Graffiti Jam is an interactive music visualizer in the browser using the Microsoft Kinect. The user’s avatar responds visually to the music with pulsating colors, and the user can use his hands as virtual spray paint cans to draw graffiti on the background.
We used (and possibly abused) several software packages in the making of this hack:
zigfu browser plugin and zig.js for Kinect data (www.zigfu.com)
mozilla audio buffer API (https://wiki.mozilla.org/Audio_Data_API), especially dsp.js
three.js (http://github.com/mrdoob/three.js/)
