Music Production Workshop With Ableton Live

Overview

Learn how to use one of the most powerful tools out there for music creators to do everything from composing and recording, to production and sound design all within Ableton Live.

In this workshop you will learn the essentials of producing music with Ableton Live, arguably the most powerful music production software around. We’ll cover how to get set up, using audio and MIDI clips, how to arrange your tracks, create loops, warp audio, as well as some basic mixing and effects processing. You’ll leave armed with all the tools you need to quickly compose and produce your own tracks.

Experience Level: Beginner. Previous experience working with music and sound creation tools is helpful but not necessary.

Requirements:
- Computer with audio capabilities and Ableton Live installed
- Headphones or speakers (not bluetooth)

Nice To Have But Not Required:
- MIDI controller
- Audio interface
- An electric instrument or microphone

With a deep passion for performance and songwriting, Jonathan aims to integrate technology and great design into his works to create epic human experiences.
