Voicing Collective Bodies
How can we dream organizational forms for equitable worlds?
Join us for a three hour workshop on play, shared infrastructures, digital protocols, community archives, and experiments in institution building.
Calum Bowden (Trust) delves into the world of collective bodies and the metaphors we organise with. He introduces Trust’s work, along with the forms of collectivity that build towards equitable institutions. The session focuses on forms that embrace the differences between individuals to lead to a more resilient and inclusive collective voice.
Through a series of activities, participants will have the opportunity to imagine and create a ‘collective body,’ including lore, membership rules, decision-making procedures, archival practices, and membranes that determine what is made public and what remains sacred. In the second half of the workshop, participants engage in a decision-making exercise.

About Trust
Trust is a network of utopian conspirators, a sandbox for creative, technical, and critical projects, and a site of experimentation for new ways of learning together. Trust exists as a hybrid online and physical platform in Berlin for inquiry into emerging social and political phenomena through the lenses of aesthetic, narrative, game, technical, climate and design research. Since 2018, they have developed a public programme that includes lectures, installations, residency programmes, reading groups, working groups, live-streamed participatory events, and online resources. Trust incubates digital projects that build a creative culture of the commons.
