Gray Area will be presenting the Artist Showcase as a hybrid experience, inviting the audience to interact with the artists' newest works both onsite at the Grand Theater and online with the Artist Walkthrough: , so you can join whichever way you prefer.
Gray Area provides creative and artistic development resources to artists and organizations. We offer Incubator and Education programs to help creators produce projects at the intersection of art and technology. Our showcases provide an interface for audiences to be inspired and get involved.
Gray Area is pleased to present a Summer Virtual Artist Spotlight exhibition: SPECULATIVE BIOLOGIES, featuring two interactive media works from our Creative Code Immersive - Elizabeth Leister and Nathan Schager. Installed online and available for the public to experience for free, the pieces included in this selection speak to the capacity for simulation to serve as a mode of speculative discovery.
