Across their various projects, the art collective terra0 explores how economy and ecology intertwine. Since their inception in 2015, terra0 has explored how ecosystems can become economic agents and engages in questions of collective ownership. Their first work, terra0 whitepaper (2016), proposed a self-utilizing forest which, with the help of sensors and smart contracts, sells logging licenses and ultimately accumulates capital. Sam has been practicing as an open source intelligence (OSINT) investigator to aid in human rights and social justice organizations for almost 10 years. Previously he has worked as Research Director at Equality Labs and Black Core Security. He focuses on combating violent extremism, dis/misinformation campaigns, and cultural manipulation. #NEWPALMYRA is a community platform dedicated to the virtual remodeling and creative reuse of architecture from the endangered Syrian city of Palmyra. We create 3D models, run workshops, produce exhibitions, and develop tools to engage the global community around Syrian cultural heritage, and build the future #NEWPALMYRA from the past. Rhea Myers

Rhea Myers is an artist, writer and hacker from the UK now based in Vancouver, BC. An early creative and critical adopter of the blockchain, her work centers on the intersection of changing technological, aesthetic and social form. Rhea's blockchain art projects include “Facecoin” (2014), “Blockchain Aesthetics” (2015) and “Artworld Ethereum” (2014 – ongoing). Chaim Gingold

Chaim Gingold is the author of Building SimCity: How to Put the World in a Machine (MIT Press), which Stewart Brand called "one of the best origin stories ever told and the best account I've seen of how innovation actually occurs in computerdom.” Gingold began his design career apprenticed to Will Wright on Spore, where his chief accomplishment was designing the critically acclaimed Spore Creature Creator.
