Our 12-week intensive certification programs combine theory with hands-on learning to help artists and technologists gain proficiency in tools and frameworks—integrating design, technology, and social impact—to create a more equitable digital future.

Responsible Technology Design Intensive

In this interdisciplinary online intensive course, award-winning critical designer, researcher, and artist Caroline Sinders—along with guest lecturer Sarah Aoun, activist and Vice President of Security at the Open Technology Fund—will lead students in understanding human rights-centered design. Throughout the course, students will ideate and design technology-mediated products with these concepts and principles in mind and examine the use of UX and design tools in activism.

Open Metaverse Intensive

In this brand new 10-week course, students will gain proficiency in the necessary digital creator tools and code frameworks—from blockchains to Blender—in a hands-on interactive learning environment. Complete the course with the ability to design and exhibit original content, create participatory events in the metaverse, and craft your own immersive mixed reality experiences from scratch.

Creative Code Intensive

Our Creative Code Intensive is designed as a 12-week course in creative code and interactive art. From web animation to physical computing and projection mapping, students build a foundation of core techniques through interactive instruction, studio projects, and group critiques, culminating in the exhibition of an interactive artwork in a public showcase.

For the 12 weeks, I could learn a lot of skills of making immersive art. I’ve took some classes about coding ever in college, yet immersive is my first class that I really excited! Its kinda bootcamp for creative coding so sometimes it was not easy for me but it was really stimulus. Also, the instructor and classmate are very friendly and talented! Hope we can keep in touch and collaborate in future.
